How Dr Dot ended up at rock's core
Steve Berry talked to Dr Dot about how her healing hands led to her becoming the dark star around which the world of rock revolves.
She literally knows everyone - Eric Clapton, Kiss, Def Leppard, The Happy Mondays, everyone!
And it all began because Dr Dot Stein is a self-confessed ‘music junkie’, who first began giving rock star massages just to get into gigs.
She told Steve: “I’m a ‘music junkie’ addicted to music, always have been. Raised by hippie parents who insisted that I massage them already at a young age, like slave drivers.
“I discovered my healing hands were a very good way to get in free to concerts when I was 14/15 years old, didn’t have enough money to get in. So I started with Def Leppard, I said ‘I don’t have any tickets to give the best massage in the world and that’s how it started and then it grew into this massive thing!”
Dr Dot also revealed the secrets of her amazing massages – very strong hands! – and just which rock stars are the most addicted to her healing hands.
