Lynyrd Skynyrd

GUN
GUN

American by birth, rebels by choice – and still unbroken.

Lynyrd Skynyrd just keep fighting. The plane crash in 1977 which killed three of the band and three crew only put them on hold. The drink-drive accident that paralysed and eventually killed guitarist Allen Collins in 1986 only slowed them down. And the deaths of keyboardist Billy Powell and bassist Ean Evans in 2009 didn’t stop them either.

Ranked by Rolling Stone as the 95th greatest artists of all time and inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2006, the current lineup is Johnny Van Zant, Gary Rossington, Rockey Medlocke, Michael Cartellone, Mark Matejka, Robert Kearns and Peter Keys.

The band’s 12th album, God & Guns, puts them back at the forefront of southern rock, a strand of riff-driven music now more popular than ever. The single Still Unbroken is a triumph of heavy blues-driven energy and testament to the fact you can’t keep a good band down.

Skynyrd say they expect tickets to shift quickly – so book yourself a night of powerhouse southern rock right now!
