Rage's free gig confirmed

Rage Against the Machine have confirmed details of the free gig they promised UK fans if they made it to Christmas Number One.
The band will play at Finsbury Park, London, on June 6 – and tickets will be made available via a pre-registered lottery system.
The RATM4Xmas campaign, fully backed by Rock Radio, brought Simon Cowell's X Factor dominance of the coveted spot to an end. Over 500,000 copies of Rage's classic track Killing in the Name were purchased, compared to 450,000 copies of talent show winner Joe McElderry's single The Climb.
The band says: "The massive 'thank you' gig that was promised is finally here. Finsbury Park will host the victory party to end all victory parties.
"You spread the word, you swayed the outcome, you made music history - now let's celebrate!"
Pre-register for your chance to win tickets at www.theragefactor.co.uk by midnight on Sunday. You'll receive a registration number for use when tickets are released on Wednesday. Photo ID is required and only the person in the photo will be allowed to use a ticket gained using their registration number.
Take our poll on the right: is the lottery system a fair way of dealing out RATM tickets?
