The Hot City video interview

When producer Shel Talmy completed work on the album which was to be called Can't Get Enough, the Sensational Alex Harvey Band only listened to it once. They knew it wasn't right, and soon got on with recording The Impossible Dream in its place.

So they have a unique take on the release of the 1974 LP, now known as Hot City - especially since it features what's almost certainly the last unheard recording of legendary frontman Alex Harvey.

Here they talk to Rock DJ Tom Russell about the background to the album's cancellation, what they thought when they heard it for the first time in 35 years, and what they think about it in terms of the rest of the band's material.

A great interview by Tom - he lets Ted and Chris tell the story without pointless interruptions (which is an approach others should copy) As for Chris's M S anecdote? Priceless!!
